Virginia's premier choral ensemble" Voce Chamber Singers, a 24-28 voice mixed choral ensemble, announces auditions for its 2009-2010 concert series to fill openings in all voice parts. Voce is unusual in that all soloists for concerts throughout the season are selected from within the ensemble. Voce's mission is to provide the highest caliber of chamber choral music for the metropolitan Washington area, to provide educational outreach, and to commission and present new choral works. The accomplished singers of Voce annually perform a diverse concert series featuring chamber choral music from around the globe, from early chant to newly commissioned works. Under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Nafziger, Voce will present in its 21st season starting in the fall. Voce rehearses on Monday evenings, September through May, in Herndon, Virginia.
